It absorbs up to thirteen times its weight in hydrocarbons and is ideal for oil/water separators and filtration systems. Environmentally friendly, it retains oils and greases without leaching harmful substances and produces minimal ash when incinerated. It is also reusable, with 85-90% of absorbed oils reclaimable.
