Overpack & Salvage Drums are typically larger containers designed as extra protection to an already contained waste. They are specifically manufactured as an outer container to a potentially leaking drum. The sizes of these containers can range from 20 gallons to 600 gallons! The most common size out of this range is the 95 gallon. They come with an X rating, and can contain a variety of hazardous materials including corrosives/acids leaking from a 55 gallon drum. A twist on & off lid provides a secure closure with slots to provide torque.
Salvage drums are steel material drums designed to contain an already leaking container. The sizes of these drums range from 12 gallon to 110 gallon. The most common size out of this range is the 85 gallon. They come with an X rating, and bolt ring closures to allow for a secure closure.
